The Zánka beach is a 27,000 square meter grassy service complex with two entrances. It can be reached on foot from the train station and several bus stops in Zánka in 5 minutes. It can be reached from the main road number 71 by driving along Rákóczi street. The Balaton bicycle tour also passes in front of the beach.
As a result of several developments within the beach, the two sandy playgrounds, sidewalks, the row of changing cabins, washrooms and showers, and the sandy sport field have now been renewed. The sandy beach is a great joy for families with small children, and we also provide free parking and wireless Internet (WiFi) services to our guests. The safety of bathers is supervised by the Balaton Water Rescue Service.

Opening hours:
Our beach is a paying beach from June 20 to August 30, 2026. Tickets must be exchanged during ticket office hours (8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) at the two available ticket offices. The beach is free to visit before and after opening hours.
We inform our guests that the ticket redeemed is valid for the entire day on the day of redemption and can be used multiple times if you have validated (scanned) your ticket at the exit terminal upon exit.

Free entry:
- A child under the age of six is entitled to free entry, accompanied by an accompanying person; otherwise, bathers are entitled to free entry to the beach area only by presenting a photo pass that entitles them to do so.
- the permanent resident of Zánka, if he is subject to municipal tax and has paid the local taxes due for the first half of the current year in full, and has no outstanding tax debt to the municipality;
- a student of Bozzay Pál Primary School, upon presentation of a student ID card and the teacher’s employer certificate;
- the employee of the municipality and its institutions upon presentation of an employer’s certificate;
- on presentation of a beach employee’s employer’s certificate;
- the operator and employee of the beach commercial establishment;
- the disabled person upon presentation of a public document certifying his disability;
- for the purpose of performance of tasks, the person performing public cleaning, utility tasks, repair, service provider, performing official authority activities, as well as the representative of the body entitled to control, is entitled to enter the beach without changing a ticket for the purpose of control.

The one-time production fee for the new pass is HUF 4,000. If the bather has kept the pass issued in the previous bathing season, it can be validated for the current year upon payment of an activation fee of HUF 2,000, provided that the entitlements are proven.
Attention! It is only possible to get a new pass or validate a pass issued in a previous bathing season on Saturday and Sunday between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.

Fishing site
- Outside the beach season, it is possible to rent a tent site for fishing purposes from September 15, 2025 to May 15, 2026. The request for the use of the fishing site should be sent to the e-mail address . The rental fee for the fishing site is 20,000 HUF / day, which fee is payable in advance.
